imo stop posting. people have opinions, its not your job to bitch and critize about what other people believe.
Theres a bumper sticker that comes to mind "If I'd like to hear from an ass, I'd fart."

QQ more.
I criticise what I want to criticise, especially if it is as nonsensical as that mindless PvP-elitist drivel up there.
You don't like it? Tough.

Easy or not, it takes TIME...a precious commodity. I'd like to be rewarded for giving so much of it to the game, honestly. And, yeah, it really does suck that KoaBD track is only character-based. A special emote would help balance out all that effort.
I don't begrudge rank emotes. Let me have my own different one and we can all just continue to go on ignoring each other. ^ ^
|
Nobody MAKES you max out titles.
You do it of your own volition in order to get a title you can wear with pride. The title IS the reward.
Do you honestly think you should be rewarded for getting a reward? Just how full of yourself ARE you?
That is just as bad as the PvPers wanting to hold on to their precious animals as though that was all they were doing HA for. Truth is, even if Bambi got shot, they'd keep doing it... and moreover the grinders who don't take HA seriously but do it anyway wouldn't have a reason to continue.... so if anything things would improve for them.... BUT... they're too short-sighted to see it like that...
This whole emote nonsense is beyond ridiculous.

Dude... pull that stick out of your arse. A-Net play favourites with PvP enough already. Any more would just be taking the p!ss.
Besides... the emotes only exist to cause aggro anyway. If you have a title then wearing that title alone should be enough... and that goes for ANY of them. Flashing the deer, wolf or whatever is just attention-whoring and trolling by any standard....
Kill bambi and the problems will stop....
|
so by this reasoning when im running around wearing fow armour displaying my people know me title im causing aggro too?or perhaps..bear with me here..im happy to have a way of displaying the time and effort i have put into my gaming.your post reeks of sour grapes.i suggest before you start accusing people of "attention whoring" and "trolling" you take a look at some of the "posts" you have been making on the forums.
as i have actually acheived the pkm title and am still not in favour of a emote for these titles that should say somthing about its reletive prestige value.its not a title won lightly but is a hell of a lot easier to get than some of the higher end pvp titles, and i have no problem admiting this.

emotes and recognition of pve related titles are good as it is with the title alone. skill vs grinding, pvp vs pve, grinding through pve shouldn't be recognized to teh point near a bambie or wolf or any sorts. only pvp should have such recognitions b/c it actually involves a great amount of skills. not ebay gold and buy unid items, drinks, sugars, bot at aspenwood and donate faction should be considered to be worthy of a emote.

how many times do scrubs ask for this....
emotes were here before titles, to give some sort of hiarchy system for pvp to show the guy who just made lvl20 from the guy who been in gvg tournaments.
pve complained enough and got their titles to show their "awsomeness" thats what you guys got. titles, and plenty of them. KoBD is just another title to show you can max titles and such, you dont need a stupid /emote for this.

I am primarily a pve player, and I really cannot see any justification for emotes for pve, pve players have enough icing already for their characters. Its bad enough that anet made the KobD title track a laughing stock with some of the new titles they have introduced, and anyone with a sweet tooth title as part of their KobD who thinks they've 'earned' it... should just alt F4 uninstall imo

I can't agree with this. The title is there to show how good you are, and that should be enough. Having an emote to go with it could only be used for showing off, and that would just be irritating.

PvPers get emotes for titles - why should those who prefer PvE be at a disadvantage?

Just give it some crazy PvE only skill IMO. That would be fun. Maybe "All Enemies in Radar-range die, this skill is disabled for 100...1 seconds."

Emotes are pvp only, please keep it pvp. KOBD title is so easy to obtain if you want it and if you have some friends, emote's in HA aren't.

Emotes should be bound to hero ranks and hero ranks only- that's how it's always been. No PvE title should ever be compared to a PvP one.
If you aren't good enough to make it in PvP you don't get an emote, simple as that.
Be moar pve scrubbish plz

Mostly tired of seeing lame "tiger copters" in PvE towns, and PvE'ers are forced to sit and watch these lame show off's. So it would be great to see PvE influenced emotes that we can rub right back in their faces.
